Procrastination Rears Its Ugly Head
I did a breakthrough coaching session recently with a super high-achieving sales person. You know, the kind of person who is on it all the time; achieving targets and seemingly has everything sorted.
Thing is, on the inside they were terrified.
Terrified of taking one small action that they knew would change the trajectory of their business.
Was it that they were lazy? No. Did they know how to do it? Yes course they did.
Did they just need to force themselves to do it? Well they tried and failed, and felt all kinds of shame in the process making things worse.
Procrastination is when we freeze. A nervous system response. It's not being lazy or inadequate, although it can often feel like that when in the midst of it.
In our session we delved into the feeling that was created when they attempted to take the action.
From that feeling we could work into what the fear was, and then create tangible actions to reduce that fear, calm the nervous system and create gradual exposure to gently push outside of the comfort zone. Huge results in a short session.
I love this work, it truly is so powerful.

If you feel pulled to work with me, it's not a coincidence. Listen to that inner voice and take the first step.
