Survey Results: Running on Empty
In my recent burnout survey, I wanted to find out how many of us are navigating life while feeling like we're "running on empty."
I asked respondents to rate their energy levels on a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 represents abundant energy and 5 signifies overwhelming struggles. The results were both eye-opening and concerning.
A staggering 71% of participants placed themselves at a 4 or 5 on this scale, indicating that they are currently grappling with life's demands and feeling overwhelmed. Not one person rated themselves as having abundant energy.
These numbers certainly gives us pause for thought.
Considering that this survey attracted responses from 100 individuals, the implications are significant.
What was also hugely eye opening was that respondents don't want the radical transformation social media would have us believe. The want to feel a bit calmer, a bit more in control of their lives and to feel like there is hope.
Remember, acknowledging our struggles is the first step towards making a change. If you find yourself resonating with these findings, know that you're not alone, and there are steps you can take to feel just that little bit better about things.
